Slok Air International The Gambia, was recently awarded the most West African friendly airline for the 2007, from the prestigious Institution of Direct Marketing in Nigeria on the 23rd April 2007, a press release from the Slok Air International Banjul Office has revealed.
According to the press release, this is a welcome endorsement of the airlines unparallel customer services especially as it was awarded in Nigeria where the airline is yet to commence flight operations. The release added that it did not come as a surprise considering the amount of resources which the management of Slok Airline International has committed to the training of its staff, especially in customer relations, coupled with the enabling environment provided by the Government of The Gambia.
“The elated Managing Director of Slok Airline International, Alhagie Abdulkkareem Idris dedicated the award to all Gambians and the esteemed customers of the airline for their trust and confidence in almost three years of operations. While thanking them for their continued support, he expressed the intention of Slok Air International to connect their passengers to even more cities, especially in south and central African, Europe and the Americans,” the release stated.
The release further stated that, the Slok Air Banjul office wished to use the opportunity to thank His Excellency, Alhagie Dr Yahya Jammeh, his cabinet, The Gambia Civil Aviation Authority, and indeed all Gambians for providing the Airline all the necessary support to excel.
